Hope you doing well
I am back from my trip to New York.
It was a great day and i had some amazing days there
I was teaching a workshop about my photography and retouching.
Today i like to write about the classes
Have fun
Day 1
I did the photography day twice wich 7 students each day. Some students where from Canada, Brazil and the U.K. It was a honor for me to teach them and i had so much support from the school of visual art and the "PhotoshopDiva" Katrin Eismann.
I had two models each day (one female and one male model) and i teached the students whats in my mind when i take my pictures. It was NOT a workshop to learn the basics in lighting. It was NOT a workshop to create 100 + great pictures. It was a workshop to understand what is important to create pictures like Calvin Hollywood.

I dont like to look for excuses, but this pictures where done at the evening in the hotel room with not much time, so dont expect to much.
I will post more pictures soon.
Day 2
The second day was the more interesting part i guess. I showed all my retouching techniques on the pictures of the first day. A lot of freaking details, dodging and burning, color manipulations and beauty retouching.
Of course everybody gets my PSD File at the end of the day, of every picture what i did.
Here is another 20 min retouching picture. I am really looking forward to show you the final pictures when i have retouched them on my computer at home (eizo eizo). Its crazy to retouch files on a mac book pro (glossy glossy*smile*)
The students
The students where great. so many great people with diffrent kind of style and personalitys. Thank you so much to join my workshop. And dont forget… if you have questions… call me.. you all have a lifetime support

Hey Calvin! I had conversed with you prior via facebook about attending your class. I am so bummed that I could not make it. I had to lay down a boatload of cash for my sons art classes to prep his college portfolio. Therefore, I had to put your workshop on hold. I am so glad everyone who made it has a blast and gained so much knowledge. You are truly talented and I will continue reading the book and study your DVD. PLEEEEEEEEEEASE come back to the states soon! I really would love to attend the next one. Thanks so much and stay blessed….Pri
